Rules
Your pool approval, without the confusion
Most private pools in Greece do not need a full building permit. These are the conditions, in plain English.

| Condition | In practice |
|---|---|
| Less than 50 m² of water | The deck and loungers do not count |
| Depth of 1.5 m at most | Both of our panel heights fit |
| At most 1 m above ground | The limit that matters for raised pools |
| Digging or filling of 1 m at most | The plot keeps its shape |
| Filter in a single unit | No separate plant-room building |
| Engineer's signature | Before the first machine arrives |
If you want something bigger
A pool with more than 50 m² of water goes through a normal building permit, which simply takes more months. Often, though, narrowing the design a little keeps it under the limit.
Taxes
Once built, the pool goes on the E9 form and counts towards ENFIA and the living-standard presumptions. Ask your accountant for today's amounts.
Send us the size of your space
With the length and width of the spot you have in mind, we tell you which pool fits, whether it stays under 50 m² and which system suits it.
